Seeing The Best That You Can
At A & C Opticians we like to take the time to talk to you about how you use your vision both in your place of education or work and at home.
We are all different and a variety of factors might influence just how well we see, as well as what we would like to see better. Sometimes we just need glasses.
We might be long or short sighted, may be combined with astigmatism, and compensatory lenses in front of our eyes are all we need to see clearly. We might be getting a bit older and just need a little help to focus on things close up.
For some of us these simple solutions may not be enough. Maybe we struggle to concentrate indoors and need a more specialist indoor lens for work or leisure that supports vision in both indoor space and at a close distance for cooking, reading, sewing and computer.
Maybe we need something that can stand up to the rigours of sporting activity – or maybe contact lenses to allow us expanded peripheral vision.
For some of us lenses alone cannot solve our visual issues. Maybe we need tints to block glare or enhance contrast or magnifiers to enlarge or even training to enhance our visual skills. Maybe we are uncomfortable due to dry eyes or an allergic condition which requires investigation and treatment.
A thorough understanding of your visual needs is critical to prescribing the most appropriate solution to help you see the best that you possibly can so please discuss any problems that you have with your Optometrist.
